Soft washing is a low-pressure cleaning technique that uses specialist biodegradable cleaning solutions to kill and remove algae, moss, lichen and other organic growth at the source. Unlike pressure washing, the low pressure means there is no risk of damage to delicate surfaces like render, painted masonry, cladding, UPVC or timber.
The cleaning solutions penetrate deep into the growth, killing it at the root so results last significantly longer than pressure washing alone. It is the recommended method for render, textured coatings, composite cladding and any surface where water ingress from high pressure could cause damage.
